Well I didn’t pull off the miraculous #1 spot, but this was pretty close 😀 I actually kept this ranking for a good 20-30 minutes or so too, by winning a lot of my matches. The first match I’d forgotten to do my button config too.. the exact same mistake I made with the beta test! ^_^ I still won with Guile, only using a Medium Punch.
Ranking wise I managed to end the first 24 hours well into the top #100, and even now, I am still in the top #300. I also managed to get the 100 ranked wins achievement on the first day, although I didn’t stop playing until about 3am, and I played an awful lot of player matches too.
I can’t really say very much about Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix at this point, as it is simply too good to write about without gushing incoherently! It’s clearly already seriously going to be in the vying for greatest game ever in my book. The only time I’ve not enjoyed it, was during a bad stretch of terribly laggy matches with people in Australia and Brazil (!). Since then I’ve given up using “quick match”, instead looking for a good ping game firstly, and then creating a room and hoping someone low ping will join me if I can’t find a good match myself.
